My condolences to the Hidder Family. The French Family have been friends of the Hidder's for years. I remember spending time at restaurant many years ago.

Joe, Yvonne and the Hidder's have always been a second family to me. Growing up I spent a lot of time at the Hidder's watching sports and of course eating one of Yvonnes fabulous meals she prepared. I don't think I ever saw her sit down in all the years I was over. Even during dinner she would take care of everyone else before she would dine. I'll miss her. Thinking of all you Hidders!!

There is nothing I can say, but she blessed everyone she came in contact with! GOD is good!!!!

Darren & Joey, We send our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. We never met her but she sounded like a lovely lady....you have many wonderful memories to cherish. Betty Sass, Bev & Jim Nowak, Sherry & Dave Waterman

I was very saddened to read that Yvonne had passed. I remember going to the grocery store as a young child with my mother and grandma and of course Yvonne was a very young lady too and she always was smiling and glad to see you. It brings back such fond memories. I and my sister were neighborhood friends of your cousins Connie and Cathy. She was a lovely lady and you were very fortunate to have her in your lives. Prayers to all of you.???? Nancy L McCracken

Condolences to all the Hidder family who is like family to me. Beautiful memorial. She was an icon not only to the church but the whole SE side neighborhood!! Great memories I will always cherish. Sorry I could not be there but my thoughts and prayers are with you all!

To the beautiful Hidder/Shaheen family, Oh my, what an extraordinary woman your mother was (Yvonne), so special, precious, loving, kind, compassionate, caring, generous, welcoming, a beautiful singing voice, fun, funny, faithful, a pillar to our community and her church, a wonderful Mother to her gorgeous and kind children, a wonderful wife to her beloved husband Joe, a wonderful Aunt to the many nieces and nephews, a wonderful Grandmother to her grandchildren and overall just a rare, gentle human being, like a mother to all of us and known to me as "Aunt Yvonne" with much respect! Yvonne was best friends with my mother Phyllis growing up in CR and maintained a valuable friendship to date. The best of memories indeed, nothing will ever compare as Yvonne's legacy will remain a powerful influence for us to carry on and shadow her wisdom and mantra... I loved her so much, like a beautiful flower and a light of love and peace she brought when she walked in a room, when she spoke to you, we felt heard and understood. RARE GENUINE HUMAN THAT IS UNFORGETTABLE! MEMORIES ETERNAL, OH MY WILL THEY BE ETERNAL THAT IS FOR SURE! I love you all so much and absolutely share your grief, however she is now with her beloved hubby, daddy Joey Senior, as they will now watch over you all from heaven above... My heart is always with you, I am truly sorry for your loss. Bless your amazing hearts of gold. I keep looking at her smile.... :) She was breathtaking inside and out! This is sad to see our loved ones passing away one by one, we have to follow their mantra and continue their legacy of HOW TO LIVE A MEANINGFUL AND BLISSFUL LIFE!

Dear Hidder Family, I was heartbroken to hear of Aunt Yvonne’s passing. She radiated love to all who were fortunate and privileged to know her. I will forever remember her and my mother, Nancy, best girl friends always and forever, taking for hours on the phone, cooking, baking and sharing recipes, and going to K-Mart on Sundays after church. Simple pleasures and shared love for family and friends was the glue that held them together for decades. Her life was a gift to all who were blessed to know her. Am hoping that the BFFs are together again.
