One of our earliest members at K9COLA-Citizens for Off Leash Areas and strong advocate for off leash areas. Margaret practically watched our children grow up since we formed -can you believe 18 years ago? Always asking how the kids were doing and I always looked forward to working with her and her husband Richard at our information tables and attending our meetings-always ready to bake up doggie treats and helping out whenever she could. She will be greatly missed.

I am sorry to hear about Margaret’s passing. I have known her for many years. I studded my dog (Lucky) with hers (Brandy) many years ago. We stayed in touch with each other for many years after that. She was a wonderful lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her. I will miss her dearly. You have my deepest sympathy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Joni

I’m sorry to hear of Margaret’s passing. I use to sit with her at St Matthew’s church at 4:00 mass. She was a wonderful lady who use to stop with her dog to get cookies that my mom would save for her when she was visiting at the nursing home. May you know some day you will see her again. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I’m so sorry and wish that I could be there with you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Aunt Ellen

My deepest sympathy of your loss of Margaret. I didn't know her well, listened to her stories often at 4RK9s.. she was a very kind woman, always helpful.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Margaret was with K9COLA from the first and she was so generous with her wisdom, humor, connections. She was a great advocate and had a good memory for names and faces. I loved running into her over the years and was just thinking recently that I had not seen her lately. Since my dogs are gone we had fewer places to cross paths. Thank you for sharing her with all of us!

Please accept our condolences. Margaret was a special lady! My husband and I knew Margaret through working with her at many K9Splash events! She was always willing to help the off-leash parks out with either baking dog treats to manning a booth if we needed her help! She will be missed! May God offer all his peace during this time of sorrow.
