Karen was a kind and caring person and a wonderful friend. We spent many hours visiting. This world is minus a positive light.

I worked with Karen for many years at Grant Wood AEA. She was always patient and welcoming to both students and colleagues who needed someone to really listen to them. She brought a lot of comfort and reassurance wherever it was needed.

Karen was wonderful to work with, when I was a preschool teacher at Harrison. She was thoughtful and sensitive to everyone's needs, child, parent, and staff. Just her loving presence made everything better.
