I miss you grandpa. You were my best friend growing up, and it’s been almost a year since we saw your departure from this earth. I know you’re with me everyday, I love you

Ralph Osenbaugh my neighbor, was a Vietnam Veteran who did what his country asked for him to do. He spent many nights in fox holes in Vietnam while Vietnamese were shooting at him. During the days in unsafe areas collecting men that have fallen and sending their bodies back home to their sad families. When his tour was over, coming back to nation that did always welcome him back with open arms. A victim of Asian Orange his health was not always the best, but you always saw him with a smile. A Veteran, Husband, Dad and Grandfather. Goodbye my friend, you will not be forgotten and thank you for letting me into your life and family. Your grieving neighbor Randy Schildmeyer

I really appreciated all the support and kind words from Ralph regarding my son, Perry. Ralph was definitely above and beyond one of the greatest guys you could ever meet. We will miss him! Prayers for his family!

Ralph started his funeral service career with me in Wichita. Had a lot of good memories and stories with Ralph. I'm very proud of his accomplishments. He will be missed!

One hell of a great great man! Missed in so many ways. Always took such good care of my grandparents and father when they passed away! Was sad to read of his passing and wishing that we could of worked together to take care of my families future needs. He always had the time and the patience for anything we needed. I would stop by just to say HI. Thank you for your service. Forever in your debt. Carl Stuber

Dear Karen and family- I was shocked and sad to learn of Ralph's death. He was something else! Thinking of you and your family. Bill Stone

I was saddened to see Ralph's obituary in the paper today. My sympathies to all of you. My parents became good friends with Ralph over many years and many funerals and Memorial Day observations at CM. He was one of the finest and most genuine person I have ever met. He was a friend to all. He was a very comforting person at both my parents funerals. He made darn sure that Mom would NOT be late to her own funeral !! I will miss him. May God's peace and comfort be with Ralph and his entire family.

Wow! I'm in shock with this news! SO sorry to hear about my past co-worker. Ralph and I sat side by side for 5 years at CM. You get to know someone very well having that opportunity. He always had great stories to share and such a great sense of humor. He played Santa well because of that permanent red nose of his. Ralph LOVED to fly with me to get "loved ones" who had passed away somewhere else but had funeral plans at Cedar Memorial. He was my co-pilot and was ALWAYS enthusiastic about flying anywhere and anytime. One time we even flew to Wellington, KS to meet his Mom, who he adored. His daughter, Amy, was our first babysitter and we adore her. He loved watching Amy play basketball and was always bragging about her. So, Karen, Amy and Mark please know that Beth and I are thinking of you all. Sending healing thoughts from San Diego.

I was so fortunate to have worked with Ralph for many years here at Cedar Memorial. He was quite the storyteller and we shared so many interesting experiences here over the years. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you Karen and your family.

I will always remember Ralph from when I worked at Cedar Memorial. He was kind, and friendly. I enjoyed when he stopped by after he retired so we could catch up with the latest. I send my condolences to you, Karen, and your family. He was a wonderful man, and will be deeply missed. Prayers to you all.

Ralph was tremendous in getting our Freedom Stitchers of Iowa Quilt of Valor Group up, running, and successful. His dedication to our Country, the Veterans, and friendship to everyone he met will be missed. Our prayers to Karen and the rest of the family. THANK YOU, Ralph for all you've done for all of us! May God Bless!

Karen, Mark, and Amy, We are so saddened to hear of Ralph's passing! He is a treasured part of so many wonderful memories for our family, as well as being there for us during the times we walked through many valleys. We were very blessed to know him and deeply appreciate all that he did for us! Rest in peace, Santa!

Ralph's kindness and generosity will always be appreciated and remembered. He thanked many Veterans for their military service, and ensured they were welcomed home. I am thankful for his service to our Country - he made a difference in so many lives.
