Here we are again
Suffering another loss
Not sure where we go from here
Without the person who was our boss
You raised us all really well
So I'm sure we'll do it right
We'll always keep you with us
Thinking of the smile you wore so bright
We are absolutely devastated
But I promise we'll continue to breathe
And try really hard not to ask the question
Why did you have to leave?
We know you are with Dad
And have finally found your peace
We'll take comfort in the fact
You've found your grief release
Hard moments are in our future
The grief strikes lie ahead
But we will continue on with smiles
Though we'll ache for you to rub our head
We will continue for our families
And we hope to make you proud
And every time I turn on Toto
I'll make sure it's extra loud
Being your kids has been an honor
And we love you so very much
Thanks for being everything you were
And for your caring Mother's touch
This loss is very heavy
And you were taken far too soon
But we will think of you every single time
We sing "I See the Moon"!
