The Langer family sends it's condolences to Pat, Mitchell, and the rest of Sonny's family.
Sonny was an employee, friend and mentor for many years during his career at the factory. He held the unique positions of being the Lead Man for our assembly line as well as Union Steward.
So he was trusted and respected by all.
He helped the new employees get accustomed to our work and habits. He knew the work but held a good sense of humor so things didn't overwhelm him.
The company sold in 2005 and now the Langer's; John, Jim and Dave have all retired to Florida. We send our sympathies to you.

I worked with Sonny 51 years ago at Langer Manufacturing. He was one of the best people I've ever met. Every Monday (when I was 17, and he was 26) he would loan me lunch money for the work week, and I would pay him back every Friday. The world has lost a great man, and heaven has gained a great man.
