To the family of Ken I extend my sympathies. Ken was a mentor to me at Kirkwood, and it was a pleasure to work for him. Honesty and integrity are the qualities I most associate with Ken as well as being a good guy.

Helen, Kevin and Kerry, I’m sorry to hear about Ken. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I have fond memories of your family when we lived on Muriel Dr. The kids always had such fun together. Although we have lost touch over the years I think of you often. You have my sympathy in the loss of your husband and father. Sincerely, Carole Livingston

Dear Helen and Family, it has been awhile since I've seen you. We use to give first grade tours together at St. Luke's. I saw your husband's obituary in the newspaper and I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you during this time of loss and will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Kerry, It has been many years since we last saw each other, but I saw your Dad's obituary in the paper and I wanted to let you know that my family and I are praying for you and your family at this time of loss. May your Dad rest in peace.

Dear Helen and Family: The Kirkwood Community College Retirees send our most sincere condolences. We are all saddened by the passing of Ken and extend our sympathy to all of Ken's family. Ken was special to the Retirees. His service to Kirkwood, as one of the original starting employees as the Board Secretary for Kirkwood is very special indeed. He was our "senior citizen" in his 90's. We always enjoyed having Ken at our monthly breakfast meetings. We missed him this past year as he was not present as often as in the past. A really wonderful person, so personable and a true gentleman. His experience at Kirkwood all those years, was a topic he often would mention in talking with him. He had some great stories. Reaching the age of 95, Ken lived a wonderful life. We can all celebrate that very special and full life now. We will all remember him fondly. The Retirees send our best wishes to you Helen and your family. Sincerely, The Kirkwood Community College Retirees.
