We met Roy and Doris on the road to a rally in the late 70s. In the decades that followed we rode many thousands of miles with them. Roy never missed a beat while fixing our various roadside failures, and Doris cooked for us with a smile under any and all conditions. (Who can forget her spaghetti and meatballs prepared in a driving rain while 10 people held a plastic tarp over her head?) Her good humor and bright smile will be sorely missed. And I will shed a tear on my birthday this year when for the first time in 35 years I won't get a card from her.

We send our prayers to the family of Doris. We met Doris and Roy through the world of motorcycles, friends and family. We are sure that Roy and Doris are once again riding together. God bless.

Doris was married to my brother Roy and they used to stop by when they were out vacationing on their motorcycle with the sidecar. We always enjoyed hearing about their travels. Doris was a wonderful wife to my brother and we were so blessed to have her in our family. She will be greatly missed!

Doris and Roy so enjoyed life together, had many wonderful motorcycle trips across this beautiful country and worked at and participated in many rallies. Both always had such positive spirits. Doris was a wonderful grandmother to Bonnie and Eric and treasured them.

To the family of Doris,(especially Bonnie and Eric), as we all know Doris was a wonderful lady and will be missed. It won't be the same to look out my window and know that she is not over there, or that we won't be chatting anymore. We had many of conversations thru her bathroom window, after, she scared me half to death. She would say my name and I would jump(every time) as I didn't know where the voice was coming from. She would laugh and smile and then say sorry, and laugh again!! Roy and Doris were great neighbors, it is comforting for me to know that they are now together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mary and family.

I was Doris's beautician. I also graduated from Urbana High School with Anna. I always enjoyed Doris, she always had a smile on her face when she came in the door. I will miss her. My thoughts and Prayers, Deb [Robison] Yeisley
