Grandma, I know that I haven't been the best grandson... I am bad with communicating, and I shy away from family due to drama. For that I am sorry. I know that you can hear me from the other side, and I need you need to know that you were an amazing woman and I have always had the utmost respect for you. You and grandpa were a big influence on my life. In a heap of turmoil, I always knew that I would be going to grandma's house and there I knew everything would be ok. Grandpa taught me respect and discipline. You taught me cooking, and love. I remember you being out shopping and I was listening to your recipe show on the radio.....I you to hear me call in to the show, so I picked up that old rotary dial handset and called in. I gave them the worst recipe ever for Worcestershire and Cheese Eggs. When you got home you thought that it was great because I had all of the steps written down and knew what to tell the DJ. Your sons had a great influence on me. Steve taught me that work is important. Jeff taught me at an early age to have fun.....and also not to take anything for granted, you never know what tomorrow may bring. Mike.....Mike introduced me to the love of computers...and he would sit down and teach me on that old Apple IIc (state of the art at the time). I never forgot any of these lessons. Your daughters....I wouldn't be here without one of them, and I am thankful for that, but they are a handful. Strong in many ways like you and very opinionated! I just needed you to know that I will miss you Grandma. Rest peacefully and I will meet you in heaven. By the way, please go and find my son Shane.... he never got to meet you and I bet he would love to. He is a great kid. I love you Grandma.
