Diane and Ed, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Diane and Ed: We were out of town last week and didn't get home until late Sunday so it was too late for the visitation. Sorry about that. LeRoy was always fun to visit with and he will be missed, for sure. I know it has been a hard week for you, but if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Ed, you and your Dad were an absolute fixture at KCCK Jazz Under the Stars in August. I always knew I would see your smiling faces when I came to photograph the event. What a great joy, I am sure it was for both of you to work together. He was a sweet man. I will miss seeing you together this year at the events. You are lucky you had that precious time to spend with him. Not many people do. Know that you and your family are in my heart.

Diane & Ed: Great man. Like lot of people, always enjoyed talking to LeRoy. Be missed. Thoughts with you both . Flip

To Diane and the Karr family, Please accept my deepest sympathy and most heartfelt condolences for your loss. I must confess that I did not know LeRoy well, but through Box Car Hobbies, he brought happiness and joy to generations of children and children-at-heart, myself included. From what I have read here, I can only surmise that in all his other life's activities and pursuits, he left behind lasting friendships and special memories that you and all of us who are grieving his loss will treasure forever. I pray that our Heavenly Father will grant him peace in the next life and that your love and memories of him may give comfort to your grief until you are all reunited again.

Diane and Ed...I am truly sorry for your loss and hope it helps to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Diane and Ed...I am so sorry to hear of Leroys passing. He's such a sweet soul and always such a family man. I cannot say enough things about all the good things I saw in him and came to know. Even still he would prefer to shine the light on both of you. He was such a family and knew how incredibly blessed he was. I hope God shares his presence with you both everyday still and forever. Deepest sympathy...

Diane, Ed, sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy to you both.

Sending my deepest sympathy!

Diane, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is many years since we worked together at Collins, but I remember coming to your store many times. Remember to take care of yourself.

Ed, I loved watching your dad follow you around the building. Happy to be working, happy to be with you, quiet, dignified; he never passed my desk without passing a few words. He just looked glad to be useful and working at your side. Few fathers and sons get that chance. It was clear that you were close. I can see his hand in who you grew up to be. I am sorry for you that he left so quickly, but I can only think that God spared him months of half-life and decline. Please accept my sympathy on the loss of an extraordina ry man.

LeRoy and that amazing brown van were always there to lead a hand. His kind words and positive attitude were ever present! Brucemore will be different this year, but he will be there with us...and I bet the brown van will be too.
