I first got to know loyal as a Van Driver and I recall many happy days with him to and from Iowa City VA. He always had a happy attitude and it was great to hear his stories on our trips and even his singing ,thou off key. I always looked foreward to picking him up, when he was on my trips. He made the day a GOOD day. I feel better for having known him.

Everyone loved Loyal, including the Fatkas, his in-law family. I met Loyal when I was 4 or 5, when Jerry met Jeri, and we hung out in Loyal and Jeanette's living room more times than I could ever count. We loved Loyal's "milk man" stories, songs, and playing in the great backyard. The house was always warm and inviting and everyone who walked in the door felt like family. Loyal broke into song again last year when we visited, and we knew that although he had accumulated many years in his life, he still had much life in his years. Loyal and Jeanette raised some amazing kids and grandkids, and our thoughts are with all of you right now. He touched many lives. Much peace and love, especially to Jeanette - we love you, and we will miss your dear Loyal. With sympathy, Stacie & family
