Mom Lytle, Nancy, and Peggy, I just learned of Claudia’s passing, and I am so very sorry. From the day I met Claudia the first day of our senior year of high school, we were instant best friends. She became the sister-of-my-heart. We laughed and talked and planned and dreamed together about our futures. We played duets on the piano, wrote long notes to each other to trade between classes, talked on the phone, and shared our families. When I moved to Missouri, we became pen-pals and wrote regularly sharing our life events. I called her ‘Melanie’, and she called me ‘Tookie’. And, when we married, we were in each others’ weddings sharing our excitement for the next phase of our journey. Over the years and through the events of our lives, we’ve lost touch. But, she and her dear family have often been in my thoughts and prayers. May God’s comfort bring you wonderful memories of Claudia to cherish and remember frequently with sweet peace.

Please accept our condolences on your loss. May you find comfort during this difficult time and gain the strength to remember all of the good times that you had together.

Betty, Nancy, and Peggy, So sorry to hear about Claudia's death. Thinking of you all. Sending condolences and prayers to all the family. Sure brings back memories thinking of you all. All those nights when we were little, our folks playing cards at each others houses and putting us to bed and then getting us up to go home. All the sleepovers and games when you guys were in Washburn. Oh, and can't forget all the drooling we did over "Pa" on "Little House On the Prairie"! Man ,we thought Michael Landon was the greatest. Doesn't seem that long ago. Lots of memories to cherish always. With love and sympathy to all, Marla
