Don, I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. From what I knew about him it always sounded as if he was a hell of a guy and I know he will be greatly missed by all. He will be in our prayers.

My Mom and I were just at Cedar Memorial on Monday to put flowers on Dave's grave and am so sorry to hear of Duane's passing and also to see in the obit that you lost Dave and Michelle's boy Todd. My thoughts are with your family and the losses you have suffered.

Uncle Duane, always had a wonderful time at the campground, going on the pontoon, will always cherish those moments in time. I liked it when you took me for a ride in the camper to get the sewage dumped and park it in a new spot. Tell Grandpa, Grandma and aunt Yvonne hello. Played two games of bags and even though I lost, we did it in honor of you, the ultimate bags king. You were such a wonderful guy.

Kendra,so sorry to hear about your grandpa.He was a really nice man.

Nikki Teresa and family"s so sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts Maureen { Mo}

We can't make the visitation.Wanted to express how saddened we were when we heard Duane passed.His kindness and gentle caring for others will be greatly missed.

I'm sorry I can't stop by today to say goodbye and give my love to Pappy and all the family. A wonderful man with a great family. He will be greatly missed. Ann Asquith

I was only a visitor to Cedar Rapids, but Duane always welcomed me as if I were coming home. We had some very nice times together. He will be sorely missed. I am happy to have called him "friend".

I remember him as a kind man with a smile on his face and a beer in his hand. He could kick just about anyone's butt at ladder ball and turn around and kick it again at the bean bag toss. I don't think i have ever heard you raise your voice to any one, but you were always the first to give your hand in friendship. I can still remember when Cindy said i had to meet her wonderful aunt and uncle, she said i would just love them. She was right, I do love you very much. Although i can't see you anymore, my love for you goes on in my heart as you continue to bring happiness to everyone who had the pleasure of having met you. As a pastor once said, "God loves you and so do I." May peace and harmony be with you always, you will be missed deeply.

Bowling banquets. What memories!! Had so much fun bowling and picking on Pappy and Yvonne. He will be missed, but will always cherish the memories and the pictures I still have from bowling. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
