Dear Mary Ann and Family, Our sincere condolences for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's death and I pray that the fullness of peace which he now enjoys will be a comfort to you, Mary Ann and your whole family.
Although I hadn't seen Pete since graduation from high school, my memory of him is a guy who was fun-loving and very respectful. I will keep you all in my prayers. Love, Kathy

My condolences to your family for this loss. I will pray for Pete's peace in heaven. May God be with you.

We always enjoyed talking with Pete. What a great person! Our sympathy to his family.

Mary Ann, Lisa and family: Mom let me know about Mr. Halm's passing. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I am most saddened to hear this, but will always remember the good times we all had in the neighborhood, at St. Judes INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (especially the Sweet Corn Festivals) and at LaSalle. I am sorry that I was not able to attend the service. Please know that you are and will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Mike

Mary Ann and family - please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I have many fond memories of the laughs my dad, Jim Novy, and Pete shared, especially when our families got together for Iowa sporting events. Even though I was little more than an adolescent at the time, Pete always treated me with kindness and respect. May God surround you with His comfort and love as you mourn and remember Pete.

My condolences,

-Kary Klismet

Pete, Jim Novy and I had some great times playing golf, going to Iowa games, went fishing in Canada once, and heaven knows what else in Cedar Rapids and beyond. We took quite a few road trips, including one memorable one to an Iowa game in Minneapolis!

What great fun we had. Pete was such a great guy. I also want to send my condolences to Mary Ann and the entire Halm family. Pete's loss will be felt by many.

Professor Emeritus, Colo. Comm. College system.
Author of several books.
Good friend of Pete's.

My condolences to Pete's family.

'Petey' was one of the very favorite Jr. high teachers while he was here. His classes were always very interesting, to say the least.

Mr. Halm was our Jr High basketball coach and teacher. He made us run every practice throughout the season and we beat teams that we had no right beating because they ran out of gas and we could keep running. Not only a good basketball strategy but a good life lesson for us all. My condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to Pete's family. I worked in the same office with Pete for many years. I will miss his sense of humor and our conversations about sports, politics and business. I had the utmost respect for his professionalism.

Mary Ann and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Lisa, I am so sorry to read about your father. My sympathy to all your family.
