Steven Thomas Null, 71, of Cedar Rapids passed away October 29, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Dunkard Cemetery in Midway, IA.
Steven was born on August 31, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the son of Maurice Thomas “Bud” and Mary Catherine (Eaton) Null. He participated in programs through Crest Services and The Arc of East Central Iowa. Steven liked art and being around cats. He was a fan of The Beatles. Steven also enjoyed watching Westerns on TV. He enjoyed having meals with his family, especially his birthday with pizza and cake.
Survivors include his sister Cathy (Dennis) Grimm of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Brian Grimm of Sherman Oaks, CA; and nieces, Kaitlin Grimm and Laura Grimm both of Cedar Rapids. Steven is also survived by his cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Maurice “Bud” and Mary C. Null.
The family extends their thanks to the staff at Harmony in Cedar Rapids and Care Initiatives Hospice for the exceptional care given to Steven.
