I was really saddened to read of the death of my former long-time neighbor in Mount Vernon. I watched Kent’s children grow up and we shared many conversations about parenting, history, and lots of other topics neighbors in a small town talk about, and continued staying in touch occasionally through Facebook after we both moved from our back-to-back homes. Kent will be missed. May your family carry many memories of good times together.

Kent was a wonderful classmate. The past 20 years he would call me from time to time to share news or to just talk. I will miss those calls even though sometimes they were very short and sweet. He always kept me up to date on things from "home" or we would talk about my adventures. Rest in Peace my friend.
