Memorial
Margaret A. Klein passed away on August 21, 2026, in Hiawatha. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9:00 am until the11:00 am Funeral Service at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton, IA.
She was born on December 4, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, IA to Milo and Doris (Narber) Kubasa. Margaret worked as a cashier for Paramount Pharmacy in Cedar Rapids for over 35 years. She loved making jewelry, going to garage sales and collecting miniatures (shoes, books and perfume bottles). Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo and doing Word Search Puzzles. Margaret loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.
Margaret is survived by her children, Jon (Sue) Klein, Lynn (the late Dale) Schroth, and Rick Barger; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 25; great-great grandmother of 14; sister, Mary Lou Webster; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Julie Ann Barger; and brother Milo Kubasa.
