To the family of James Franta:
I am so terribly sorry about your loss. I had the unique opportunity of working with James as a student/student council member, and later on his colleague, all at Harding Middle School. I know firsthand that James cared deeply about the students and athletes he served, and put 100% of his heart into everything that he did. After moving on to teach high school, I had many of his former students in class who worked for his lawn care business, and they all had very positive things to say about those experiences.
Sending your family warm wishes during this difficult time.

We're all shocked by this loss for our Family. My Uncle James was definitely one of a kind, definitely had lots of drive for the current business he owned,
Jim Bob's Lawn Care, As he did for all other work he held. Reality has already set in that now there is Five of you left. We're sad you had to leave but rejoice because you are free and are in Heaven with Grandma and Grandpa Franta. Say hello for all of us. We miss all of you. Sending hugs and love to you in heaven. Everyone totally grieves different, there's no time limit. Just know from the roof tops of heaven, we all always had you in our thoughts. Wish life wasn't this way, but that's how we learn to keep on trucking. Rest in paradise Uncle James.

My heart is filled with gratitude to Coach Franta for making memories for many young people. As a coach on the opposite sideline I can tell you that my charges were some of those young people who developed lasting memories going up against the Harding gridders.
Coach Franta is respected, valued and cherished!

I really appreciate all that James did for my son. My son attended summer football camps with James and worked for him lawn mowing. There were always stories to tell!! Haha. My condolences to the family. James will be remembered as a man that gave much to the community!
