Memorial
Carolyn Ann Overturf, 78, of Panama City, FL passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born in Vinton, Iowa on January 21, 1947.
She attended Palo Elementary and Junior High before graduating from Shellsburg High School. She had a deep love for quilting, cherished time with her family and cats, enjoyed volunteering with the VFW, and valued the moments she shared with her friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Max Overturf; parents, Edith and Bernard Vogt; grandparents, Carolyn and Harold Usher and Myrtle and Harry Vogt.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brad (Lana) Overturf; stepdaughters, Chris (Randy) Dicus and Roxanna (Todd) Mason; grandchildren, Gillian and Zach Overturf, Jackie Russo, Jenna Anderson, Justin Overturf and Rob Frazier; 10 great grandchildren; siblings Sandy (Dan) Kerstiens, Charyl Dyslin and AL Johnson.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Friday, June 20, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private family committal service will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Inurnment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of the Last Supper. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
