Bernard Glenn Quint, 87, of Shellsburg, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at home. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, 10:30 am, at St Pius Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2:00-5:00 pm, with a rosary at 4:30 pm, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
Glenn was born April 22, 1937, to Edward and Lorene (Moorman) Quint in rural Worthington, Iowa. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1959. Glenn married Jane Frances Walderbach on April 20, 1963, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ryan, Iowa, and was married for 39 years until her death in 2002. Glenn worked for Iowa/Illinois Gas & Electric for 37 years. He was also a farmer on his farm outside of Coggon, Iowa. Glenn was a graduate of Kirkwood Community College. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. On June 4, 2004, Glenn married Judy Ann McGee.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 21 years, Judy A Quint, sons; Rodney (Julie) Quint, and Roger Quint, step daughter Christina (Kelly) Page, son in-law, Tom Greiter, grandsons; Travis (Ariel) Quint and Zach Greiter, granddaughters; Jessica Quint and Elizabeth (Alexander) Greiter, step granddaughters; Regan Page and Rylee Page, sisters; Lois (Jim) Vertz and Bettsy (Gary) Sickels, sister in-law, Judy Quint, and Janet Walderbach, along with many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Frances Quint, daughter, Jackie, and son, Brad, parents, Edward and Lorene Quint, brothers Jerome and Ronnie, and a sister, Carol Weber.
