On behave of Jean and myself we pass on our sympathy to the family, we appreciated our interactions with our brother clubs

Barb was one of those people whom you instantly knew was a people person through and through. She forged relationships easily with many because she understood the value of working with people, and getting to know them, both professionally and personally. She'll be missed by so many.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Barb's passing. She was a mentor to me and was always helpful and supportive to anyone who needed her help. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kaitlyn, and family.

Our Iowa vs Iowa State rivalry will never be the same. Barb has been my friend for over 20 years, and I enjoyed the battles to see who would win a game. She was a great leader at work, NCMA, and alumni watch parties. She was a passionate friend to everyone she met. Go Hawkeyes!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Barb's passing. We worked together at Collins many years ago, and I will always remember her strong work ethic and willingness to take on difficult tasks, and do so with a great attitude. My sincere condolences to her family.

I worked with Barb at Collins. We worked together on documentation. She was always enthusiastic and passionate about her work. Always trying to make things better. Gone too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

The world has lost a such a wonderful lady much too soon! She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart and the amount of lives she touched along the way. Sending love and prayers to Kaitlin and her family.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Barb for a few years while our department started our smoke alarm initiative in Sun City. I loved her enthusiasm, energy and willingness to help. Because of her efforts, we were able to help protect many of her friends and neighbors. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was honored to have worked with Barb at Collins, and will say she was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve known. She was such a hard worker and always willing to mentor and share her knowledge. She had passion for doing the right thing. She was the kind of person you could just carry on a conversation with about some many different topics. Kaitlin and family, my deepest condolences, I can’t imagine how tough this is. Sending thoughts, hugs and prayers to you.

I am so saddened to hear of Barb’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with her years ago at Rockwell Collins and I remember her as a truly remarkable person 💔 My deepest condolences to her family. She was taken far too soon, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Barbara was the kind of person that just touched so many lives. Her work here at Sun City Summerlin was outstanding and so very impactful. She just got the job done. We missed her when she moved. She left such a void in our community and I always wished her well. I am devastated to hear of her family's immense loss and I am sending my deepest condolences. 🙏💔😢

Words cannot say enough on what Barb has meant to me and to Rockwell Collins. We are thinking of you in this difficult time. She was my teacher (CPU), mentor, coach, my boss and most importantly a friend. Barb was a role model to me and many others at RCI over the years. Her personality, spirit and charisma allowed her to be a great person and a great leader. She will be missed by all. Thoughts, Prayers and God Bless to you and your family.

I was blessed to have had Barb as a music teacher back in the day, and then had the pleasure of working with her as an adult. She was very caring and always strive to do the right thing even when it wasn't the popular choice. She will be greatly missed. I know how close she was with her children. May God wrap his arms around you during this time.

Barb touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed. I was honored to have worked with Barb at Collins, and will forever be inspired by her determination, hard work, but most of all her big heart and passion for doing the right thing. Kaitlin and family, I can imagine how tough this is. Barb was someone who had a soul that was larger than life, and she could move mountains. Please know that she's still with you every day, and that the world will forever be better because she was a part of it.
