Our family sends our most heartfelt condolences to Chris's family and friends. We spent time with Chris, Cammi, and the boys during our son's travel baseball and youth football years. Chris was always a fan favorite among the kids when he would ride in on his motorcycle to the boys' games. With his flame-spitting motorcycle and hardworking exterior, Chris was quick with a friendly nod and a consistent presence supporting the boys, their teams and community.

I had known Chris since junior high and I can tell you, he was one of the greatest friends I've ever had. He was the one I would go to for a laugh and he never let me down. He had the right amount of sarcasm but you could always tell when he was trying to pull one over on you because he'd get that little grin. There are so many memories that came back when I heard about this and all of them were good. I remember we used his car hood once to go sledding on, playing pool and sharking a little. Even the occasional T.P. of houses here and there. There are hundreds of other stories and I'm glad he was part of every one of them. I'm gonna miss you big buddy.

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. I worked with Chris on several occasions at Benchmark. We were once inspecting tile roofs 4 stories in the air. Chris as operating a huge aerial man lift, me in the bucket beside him. We got to our desired elevation, and he calmly said “ do you feel our wheels sliding on the turf?” Which unnerved me, but Chris teased me, “it’s not unexpected”. I couldn’t wait to get down. Rest in peace Chris, I will remember your calmness on that day. Thanks for getting me down safely.

My heart goes out to you all, Chris will be so missed, he was definitely a special man and I am honored to have called him my friend. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers always.❤️🙏🏼
