Memorial
Sue Ann Allen, 65, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
Sue was born August 6, 1960, to Delane and Gloria (Hundwardsen) Schroeder in Cherokee, Iowa. She married Blair Allen on December 5, 1981, and together they had two sons. She worked at Walmart as a personnel manager. Sue and Blair moved to Cedar Rapids to be closer to her grandchildren.
She enjoyed watching sports, working on her puzzles, crocheting, travelling, and bird watching. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Blair; sons, J.D. (Jessica) and Aric (Lanae); grandchildren, Brooke, Cale, Gavin, McKenna, and Briar; sisters, Lori Volkert and Kristi Guttuso. She is preceded in death by her parents.
