Our deepest sympathy at this time of sorrow. Diane, I understand the heartbreak of losing a child. Time heals, may your faith bring you comfort until you meet again.

I got the chance to meet Brad when he and I first started at Databricks together. We both attended training in San Francisco and became instant friends. There is a certain bond you have with coworkers that start with you in the trenches of training but Brad had a certain quality that I knew we would be long time friends. I have heard it from so many people that had a chance to know him. His smile and joy was just infectious. He talked about his entire family with such a glow as we both shared pictures and stories. Brad would reach out to me to check in every couple months since we were not on the same teams. Thankful to have known him. I pray for the entire family daily and thankful for even the short period of time I got to know Brad.

Brad and I worked together on the same team at Databricks for the past 8 months and I’m beyond grateful for getting to know him, albeit for a short period of time. From the beginning, Brad welcomed me so genuinely and became a great friend. We immediately had a lot in common across raising two young boys, a love of NCAA football/hoops and plenty of laughs around navigating I-70 congestion on a Colorado powder day. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know Brad as a kind, funny, sincere and all around gracious friend and send my fullest condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
With love, Jeff, Angela, George and Charlie Kendall
