Jean Reid

I was saddened to see Jean's passing. When I was in high school and college I worked on the MISD summer maintenance and grounds crew and Jean was usually the first person who greeted us as we came in the mornings. While I am sure some of our actions left her shaking her head, she was always looking out for our well being. On days where the temp or heat index was over 100, she made sure that our assignments were inside buildings out of the heat. Jean and Bernie were as good as it gets and I have very fond memories of both. My condolences on Jean's passing. She was a gem.
