Amy K. Morgan, 55, formerly of Van Horne, passed away suddenly on September 20, 2023. A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom.
Amy was born April 20, 1968. She graduated from Benton Community High School before receiving her associate degree from Patricia Stevens Career College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Amy was an insurance agent for 25 years. She worked at Van Horne Insurance Agency before moving to Gretna, Louisiana with her husband. She worked at Pappalardo Agency, Inc. at the time of her passing.
Amy is survived by her husband, Duane Morgan; children, Jacob Johnson and Jes (Matt Frasher) Johnson; step-children, Dennis Morgan, Rose Morgan, Samantha Morgan and Chase Morgan; grandchildren, Libby Sue Welch and Rhettley Frasher step- grandchildren, Leigha Morgan, Noah Heisler, Evy Morgan, Paisley Newman, C.J. Morgan and Richard Morgan; parents, Larry and Constance Shears; siblings, Angela (Doug) Klosterman and Bradley J. (Jessi)Shears; nieces and nephews, Zachary Klosterman, Allison Klosterman, Cameron Shears and Jorja Allen.
