Robert Earl Berry, 86 of Solon, IA formerly of Cedar Rapids, IA and Key Colony Beach, FL passed away Sunday June 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 Thursday July 6th with services to immediately follow at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Robert (Bob) was born August 7th 1936, in Vinton Iowa to R. Earl and Helen Berry. He married the love of his life Carolyn Ruth Butts on August 20, 1955. He was a successful businessman and had several businesses doing roofing, pools, and real estate investing.

Bob also enjoyed many hobbies with his friends and family including snowmobiling, hunting, skiing, fishing, and boating in Minnesota and the Florida Keys. Bob and Carolyn loved traveling in their motorhome visiting and staying with family and friends across the United States. They loved staying at state parks and KOA's. Bob's love and passion for fishing he passed down to his children, grandchildren, and great grandkids through teaching them how to fish, tie a fishing knot and drive the boat. Bob also enjoyed his "toddy" time and always had a joke to tell. 

He is survived by his daughters and their families:  
Becky Eden (Rusty Peck) of Solon, IA, and children Nicole (Matthew) Lepic of Solon and their children: Tiffany, Thomas, Landon, and Austin and Michael (Kayosha) Eden and child Tatum of North Liberty.

Bonnye Miller of Clarksville, TN, and children Daniel (Shannon) Myers of Henderson, TN and their children, Reef, Coen, Haven, and Bair, Lindsye Lynch of Florida and children Mason, Maddox, and Lucia, Britnye (Craig) Bucholtz of Florida and children Zander, Alex, and Henley, and Joseph Miller of Clarksville, TN.

Brenda (Rick) Keel of Cocoa Beach, FL, and their children Andrew (Katie) Keel of Oviedo, FL and children Aria, Kai, and Aven, Austin (Laura) Keel of Oviedo, FL, and Baby Chloe due in August, and Alexander Keel of Lake Nona, FL.

Also survived by siblings Karren Gray of Pella, IA and David (Lynne) Berry of Marion, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents R. Earl and Helen Berry, wife Carolyn R. Berry, and siblings Thomas Lockhart, Mary Lane, and Clara Pulda.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established. 

 Bob will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
