Fred and family - I am so sorry to hear of Marlenes passing. You all hung out with my dad and mom at church and their house in Hiawatha. My parents (Dick & Char Stanford). Marlene was one of the most sweetest ladies I have ever known. Memories of her being our lunch lady at Hiawatha School. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, may god bless you all during this difficult time. RIP Marlene you will be missed by so many.

Marlene is well remembered and appreciated as a good-hearted, fun person when we were at Buffalo UMC in the early 1990s. She and her spouse Fred, and children Dawn and Vince and their families are what made community and welcoming in Buffalo. My condolences to all. Marlene was a gem.

To Marlene's family...I have know Marlene since my day one. Buffalo Church with my Aunt Mystle, working at Hiawatha Elementary with my grandpa and after his retirement and interactions from time to time through Facebook. Marlene was an amazing lady and I thought about her often. I am so sorry for Marlene's loss, but she is with McHale and many friends from Hiawatha and Buffalo. I know my grandparents and my aunt were greeting her. My thoughts and prayers to Fred and the rest of the family. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. RIP Marlene.
