To the Heaverlo Family: I was very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I would see him often over the years as he made rounds or assisted with security issues at Mercy ER. He was always pleasant and helpful and had a good sense of humor. He will be missed!!

Jean, we were shocked to hear about Dick. I knew him years ago at Mercy and then reconnected with him at St. Jude’s. We will miss him at Church, chatting with him and his waving to us with a big smile, as he walked to his pew for Mass. He was a great guy and will be missed by many at our Parish. I remember Richard as a security guard at Mercy Medical Center. Everyone enjoyed his company, always willing to lend an ear or a hand if needed! My condolences to the family. Heaven gained a great man here.
