William (Bill) Royce Holderman, born in Dayton Ohio on March 2nd, 1942, passed away Dec 19th 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital Cedar Rapids Iowa. A private service will be held for the family. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bill was a Private in the US Army and served in Korea as a Helicopter Mechanic. He transferred to the Army Reserves in 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1967. He married Marilyn Riley on June 12, 1965, in Cedar Rapids. They had two children, Jeff and Tim.
Bill was active in his Christian faith and enjoyed sharing the love of Christ with all around him. He was a faithful member of Antioch Christian Church.
Preceded in death by: parents Chester and Elanor Holderman, son Jeff Holderman,and sisters Barbara Schereck and Ruth Ann Stratton
Survived by wife Marilyn Holderman, son Tim Holderman, grandchildren Kylene Holderman, Addison Holderman and sisters RoseMary Holderman and Nancy Holderman-Gansneder.
William often said, “It’s a God Thing”.
