Marilyn Holderman, born September 3, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, passed away on December 29, 2023.
She married the love of her life William (Bill) Holderman on June 12, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They had two children, Jeff and Tim. She was a paraprofessional in the Marion School District until she retired. Marilyn had a passion for playing the piano and organ. She shared this passion by playing them for their church. Marilyn and Bill would go to local nursing homes and play and share the love of Christ with the residents. She was a faithful member of the Antioch Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Holderman, son Jeff Holderman, parents Ivan and Majorie Riley.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Tim Holderman, grandchildren, Kylene Holderman, Addison Holderman and a sister, Jean Graham.
A Celebration of Life for Bill and Marilyn will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Antioch Christian Church, 433 Cross Road, Marion, IA.
