Memorial
William David Anders, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home at 11:00AM with a burial following the service.
William was born November 8, 1961, to William and Lee Ola (Hutch) Anders in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Kennedy High School and later enlisted into the US Airforce. He worked for many years at Tree House. William loved to watch sports, and especially enjoyed watching basketball.
He is survived by his son, William David Anders II; his mother, Lee Ola Anders; and his sister, Sheryl Green. William is preceded in death by his father, William Roy Anders.
