Larry M. Kutcher, 74, of Center Point passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Memorial Service: 9:30 AM, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the chapel.

Larry was born on March 30, 1949, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Earl F. and Adeline M. (Fisher) Kutcher. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-1970 and learned that real battles are waged with love. He married Colleen on March 8, 2015. Larry had worked at Wilson’s Foods and General Mills. His true passions were family and friends. Larry built beautiful homes and beautiful life. He enjoyed fishing, building and repairing things, and being with nature. It seemed that he always had a fishing pole or a hammer in his hand.  Though he had a tape measure in every room of his house he never caught a fish that was smaller than 18 inches. Larry had an extraordinary work ethic and a deep care for those around him. He stood up for the little guy and no matter the circumstances genuinely believed “Life is good!”.  Larry Kutcher was a blue collar poet.

Survivors include his wife Colleen of Center Point; children Tausha (Kenneth) Kordisch of Lake Charles, LA, Christopher (Mila) Kutcher of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael (Kristen) Kutcher of Fort Collins, CO; stepsons Craig (Addie) Jones of Cedar Rapids and Brian (Tatum) Jones of Mt. Vernon; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Rita Kutcher of Moline, IL and Marie Taylor of Oxford; several nieces and nephews; and his personal butcher T-Bone Taylor.

Preceding him in death were his parents Earl and Adeline and brother Jim Kutcher.
