David “Dave” Burian, Age 67, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, on Monday, April 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Dave was born on April 17, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of the late Lumir and Geraldine (Stanbro) Burian. Dave was a Veteran in the Navy from 1976-1980, then was in the Reserves until 1983. Dave enjoyed working on cars, the outdoors, the New York Jets, the Iowa State Cyclones, and all animals. Dave loved the relationships he had with his friends and family.
Those left to cherish Dave’s memory are his siblings, LuAnn (Paul) Hoffner, of Clarence, IA, Jeffrey (Christine) Burian, of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Verna (Richard Bennett) Burian, of Brandon, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
