Ed and I are deeply saddened to learn of Sue's passing. For approximately 30 years we have enjoyed the friendship of Dick and Sue through the US Power Squadron. We connected with them in District and National Meetings from Iowa to Orlando to Maryland. Sue and Dick were gracious hosts when we were invited to their beautiful home. They escorted us around the Herbert Hoover Museum. Sue's wonderful humor made the dullest meeting a pleasure to attend. We both had been teachers, loved Black Pearls, and talking about our travels. WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF SUE!

I am so sorry about Sue's passing. I worked at Cottage Grove for some time while her and Dick lived there. She was a favorite of mine. She was very kind, and was sure to spread that kindness. She would always stop me to check on me and see how I was. I loved talking to her. Whenever I went to her room she would always give me a couple treats to give to her dog, at the time. Sending my condolences to Dick, her daughter, and all of her loved ones.

Ellen: I am saddened to hear of your mother's passing. May your family provide you strength, your memories of Sue provide you solace, and may you experience His Grace to comfort your soul.

Sue was a timeless friend. It was our pleasure to know her for many years. She was a considerate person who had a firm grasp of what it means to be a Christian. When you needed a friend, she was there. We join with her family and friends in celebrating her life. We are all better because she was here. God's blessings as we send her home. Our earthly loss is heaven's gift. Or perhaps her life was heaven's gift to all of us. An articulate, caring and kind lady with all of the right qualities to lead and serve. Is is easy to admire her. May all the Angels, Saints, Holy men and Holy women welcome her into God's eternal Grace.

Our deepest Sympathy to Dick and the Family. We will miss Sue. She was always a joy to be around and we had a great time at various Power Squadron, District and National meetings over the years.
