Julianne Elizabeth (Kessler) Godar, 75, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, where she was reunited with her parents Herb and Connie Hanson and Robert Kessler, her first husband Mike Curtis, and numerous other loved ones. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Packingham, Shannon (Tom) Carolan and Winter Packingham; brother Joel (Ann) Kessler; a niece; 2 nephews; close family friend Amy Knudsen, as well as other beloved family and friends. Julie enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, watching General Hospital and Hallmark movies, Carlos O’Kelly’s chips and queso, and her grand-dogger Georgie.
A graveside service is set for 11:00 a.m. Friday October 7, 2022, at Spring Grove Cemetery in Covington, Iowa. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
