We are so sorry we couldn't make it to visitation and see you Joan, and the girls. We had an out of town family funeral at the same time--but are definitely thinking about you, our long time neighborhood neighbor, and will miss you on our street.

I am sorry to learn of Warren's passing. I have a good memory of him. He and I had a chance encounter many years ago, at the original Skyhawks model airfield in Seminole Valley. We were both flying our planes and he took a few pictures of mine - I think it was probably a new camera. I didn't think much more about it until a few days later a packet of excellent photos turned up in the mail. I was thrilled to have them and was so impressed with his kind thoughtfulness to seek out my address and make a surprise gift of them to me.

We will miss Uncle Warren. He was my dentist through college til I moved away. My family always enjoyed seeing him and Joan at various community events and family activities.

Uncle Warren always had time for me. Although distance and my ambitions took me from the Pacific NW to the Rocky Mountains, and back to Iowa; Uncle Warren was 100% authentic, and he always had time for me! A True loss...Sympathy to Aunt Joan, Cousin Laura Beer (and family), Ann Charles (and family). Grand kids. I will be paying my respects in person. Cousin M. Kemp West Des Moines

Joan, Laura, and family, our hearts and sympathies are with you. Warren was always friendly at worship and when we crossed paths in the community. Such a sad time for you all and for all those he touched over the years.

Sorry to hear about Warren passing. My connection is through Joan who was a classmate of Joyce Humble (Kehrer). Joyce also knew Warren from school. Through the years Joyce and Joan worked on reunions for Franklin. I would see and chat with Warren while the wives were having meetings. Such good memories. My prayer is for celebrating a life well lived.

Thinking of you and your family at this time. I always enjoyed talking with Warren and Joan at church. He and I had a running joke about my saying hello to him and knowing who he was. Of course I did! Gingie

I am very sorry to hear of Warren's passing. He was my dentist for years and we developed a nice friendship. I will miss his smile and laughter. Please know that prayers will be said for his family. Peace

So sorry to hear of Warren's passing. I have always enjoyed any time we spent together. We were classmates in Dental School and remained friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Joan

We are so sorry for your loss. It was a great pleasure to know Warren for over 25 years as a neighbor and friend. His smile and kind waves across the road brought our family joy and he and Joan’s support of our daughter’s various school fundraisers is a grand example of their generosity. Thinking of you all and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you remember a great father. Positive thoughts, prayers, and hugs to you ~ Debra, Kent , & Delaney

So sorry joan and know that you are in Barvinemy thoughts. Judith barvinek444@gmail.com
