Mike: I was saddened to read that Sara had died. I will always remember her wonderful smile when I saw her at St. Luke's. The picture you selected captures that smile perfectly.

Mike, Peter, Margaret, and family,
Herb S passed the news to us regarding the passing of Sara. Gina and I had the opportunity to meet Sara at one the reunions at the VFW in Ransom KS. We enjoyed the conversations with you both during the event. Mike, you and Sara have accomplished so much in your lives since our time together in the Navy during our tours in the Philippine Islands. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this challenging period.

Dear Michael and family, I was sad to hear of Sara's passing. Her brother, Justin, told me. Sara's family and my family were neighbors on Kauffman Ave in Dubuque. Justin and I were in the same grade. My family moved to Dubuque the day before I started second grade at Sacred Heart School. The morning school started, Sara, John, Jeff, and Justin showed up at our door to walk with my brother and I. Naturally, I always walked with Sara. Even though Sara was four years older than me, I remember that she talked to me the entire eight-block distance to school. That continued for the entire school year! As time took us all in several directions, it was nice when Justin & Karen reconnected with me and my husband, Scott. (And I reconnected with Mary Kay when she attended my sister's visitation last year.) Needless to say, we've shared a lot of childhood memories, several of which included Sara. Our prayers are with all of you during this time.

Dear Michael and family, I am so, so sorry to see of Sarah’s passing. I very much remember ALL she did for Annette and us through Annette’s Rehab. She was so loving, caring, and helpful. She and the other nurses were the ones that helped us to get Annette to Craig Hospital in Colorado. Main reason Annette is doing as well as she is to this day! An Angel then and an Angel now! I am sending my love to you all. Roberta Skoog

Mike, Maggie and Peter, I am so sad to read of Sara's passing today. As I look at Sara's picture, her beautiful smile is exactly as I remember from 41 years ago when we first met. I cared for Peter in my home when he was just a baby. The memories I have of conversations Sara and I had as new moms. At that time Mike, you were just going to change careers and move into the college world. Life goes fast and I can't believe it's been 41 years. I loved Sara and the short time we shared. I will hold you all in my heart as you grieve the loss of a great lady, mom, wife.

Dear Wright family, I worked as Sara’s Nurse Manager for over 17 years. We had many conversations about her family, her faith and her love of nursing, particularly Rehabilitation Nursing. She loved her family deeply, she loved her profession of nursing and she loved her coworkers, past and present. She contributed greatly and will be missed and remembered by many. I will be praying for you as you grieve your loss.

I knew Sara as I work on 6th west rehab as a housekeeper. She always worked at nite so I would talk to her as she was getting ready to leave. So sorry for your loss. My prayers to the family.

Mike, Maggie, Peter, and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Sara’s passing. We were shocked when it was announced in church this morning. Our hearts go out to you all.
Sara was always so kind, friendly and easy to visit with. I have many memories of her beginning when we lived on the same dorm floor (2nd Regina) at Mount Mercy. We then had Maggie and our Sara in the same class at St Pius. Our paths crossed in many ways over the years but it has been awhile since we last saw her. May she Rest In Peace????.
