Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Steve; daughter, Traci (Craig) Stump of Cedar Rapids; son, Casey (Wes) Wilkey of Cape Coral, FL; step-daughters, Liz (Jim) Haske of Richmond, VA, Jennifer Sandstrom of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with another due in August, an aunt, Suzanne Leavy and many cousins.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Helen Clark.

Nancy was born May 13, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Ralph and Helen Clark.  Nancy graduated from Jefferson High School with the class of 1966.  She was married to Ron Keilholtz in 1965 and later divorced.  On August 18, 1988 she and Steve Sandstrom married on a beautiful Las Vegas day.

Nancy started her career as a hairdresser.  She later moved to Life Investors/AEGON, where her mother and daughter both worked.  Nancy ended her career by retiring from GE Capital/Lease America.

Nancy loved everyone, she was quite the talker, making it hard to get a word in edge-wise.  She was always excited about her trips to the casino!  She was an avid supporter of all foundations involving animals and volunteered several days a week at the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy.  Nancy dearly loved her family and would do anything within her power for them.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for the compassion shown to Nancy and her family.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name can be made to Critter Crusaders or the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy.
