William “Bill” Charles Vesey, 82, of Marion, Iowa passed away peacefully July 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Cedar Memorial Family Center following the service.
Bill was born January 23, 1940, to Robert and Lucia (Schoon) Vesey in Frankfort, Indiana. He graduated from Monticello High School. He married Dianne Konicek April 16, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a journeyman electrician with the IBEW Local 405 up until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife Dianne Vesey; sons, Mark (Christy), and Rev. Matthew (Donna) Vesey; five grandchildren; and his sister MaryAnn Knapp.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Dr. Phillip and Thomas Vesey.
