Roger Lynn Parry, 67, Marion, passed away Monday January 3, 2022, at his home after a brief illness. Roger's wishes were cremation with no services. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his son, Nicholas Parry, his granddaughters, Riley and Preston, his brother Dennis Parry, his sisters-in-law, Judy (Dennis) Parry, Sandy (Gary) Feaker and Susan Wagamon, his brother-in-law, Robert (Coleen) Lathrop, and his step father-in-law, Robert Steuber, several nieces, nephews and his beloved dachshund Herky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Marie Parry, his in-laws, Ruth and Robert Lathrop.
Roger was born February 16, 1954, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Irvin and Marie Parry. He graduated from Kennedy High School and attended Coe College.
Roger worked many years as a Sales Representative for Allen Motor Company, Hamilton Medical, and as General Manager for Golf Headquarters. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, accomplished golfer, track and field enthusiast, and loved watching or attending sporting events with friends and family.
