I was saddened to hear that my Godmother JoAnn had passed. I remember her constant smile and wonderful laugh during she and Ed's periodic visits with the Tom and Marlene Stemlar family in both Milwaukee and in Iowa. She had such an energy, a life force, about her. I remember she had a gift of making everyone smile and laugh. What a special woman, I thought, to have as my Godmother. My heartfelt condolences go out to Ed and the rest of JoAnn's loving family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. JoAnn has always been special..and funny...and ornery..and loving! She and I shared our lives daily when we were young Mothers.....always fun...always exciting....and noone has ever been able to replace her in my life! I have been blessed with her friendship.

We were saddened to hear about JoAnn’s passing. She always made us laugh and put a smile on our faces. She may be gone from this world but will never be forgotten. Hopefully she is rubbing elbows with the Big Man upstairs! Please Keep telling stories and keep those loving memories alive! I know she touched a lot of people and will be watching over all of us! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. The O’Donnell families from California

Thinking of you all on this super hard day. I pray for all the love and peace for your family. I will always be grateful to Joann for reaching out after our mom passed and staying connected. I meant more than she ever knew! May she rest in peace. Xoxo

JoAnn was full of piss and vinegar and I loved sitting by her at the Bradley family showers and events. Seriously made me laugh and smile like no one else. The love she had for her family was evident in all of her stories. JoAnn was such a blessing to so many and I am thankful for the time I got to spend with her. Memories are golden. Love to you all and prayers for comfort.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Ed and all of the O’Donnell kids and grandkids, Maureen and Miles on the passing of JoAnne. She was a warm, welcoming, personable, funny and joyful woman. Some of my best memories of JoAnne/Ed and family was your move to Davenport and having y’all as neighbors, relatives and friends. I’m certain she has joined all of God’s Angels. May she rest in peace and May God comfort you as you grieve her passing but celebrate the goodness and joy she gave and brought to many. Pat Houlahan

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ed and the kids and grandchildren. Joanne was such an incredible woman. Her smile and her laugh will forever be remembered.

Joann was such a wonderful person. She had a great sense of humor and was quite the prankster. I hope you have your cup of sugar up there.
