Sorry Mary and family, I did not ever stay up with Lyle past 40 years !! He was my fort dsm baseball team pal--- beer and pool shooting pal near dsm airport area later years-- sounds like you guys made a great life in cedar rapids area-- congrats on a long term marriage and grandkids !!!! Was saddened to here about Lyle's passing. Lot of memories from the days at Shawn Ryans and Beaver Creek. Friday night pool at Shawn's was always popular , and looked forward to when Lyle would put his quarters up , knowing I would get to play him, lot of smack talking.
