Ragiena Joy Bennett, 72, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in Rochester, Minnesota. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 4:00- 8:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom.
She was born on February 4, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Sylvester and Isabelle (Hagen) Woods. Ragiena was united in marriage to Albion Henry Bennett on June 4, 1988, in Atkins, Iowa. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2014. During her free time, Ragiena had a love for horses, spending time at the golf course, boating on her pontoon in the Mighty Mississippi River and first and foremost the love her family and friends.
Survivors include her children; Jeff (Jennifer) Holmes, Sandra (Bob Brown) Floyd, Brian Holmes, Albion (Christy) Bennett; sister Kay Hamilton; brother Rocky Woods; Ragiena also loved her six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and spouse, Albion, brothers Kent Woods and Lee Woods.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
