Neva, I wish I had known of your passing in time to make the trip to give a final farewell. I have fond memories of our road trip to Texas from Iowa. You read every sign you saw along the road. I admit at the time it drove me a little crazy, but I find I do it now too! You would be proud. Your Grandson David still has the little Tigger outfit you got him when we brought him home (in memory of my Dad who went by Tigger). I am sad that I was not able to locate you to send cards etc. I hope you are Square-dancing in Heaven with my Dad. He loved you very much. I still have the beautiful rose afghan you made me for my Birthday years ago. I will treasure it always and always think of you with kind and loving thoughts.

To Neva’s family—we square danced a number of years with Neva. She was a very accomplished dancer and always danced almost every tip at a dance. She made a lot of her own outfits using her sewing skills. For one of the Heart Fund dances, she made all the ladies a fabric heart out of red fabric to adorn their red and white outfits which were often worn at those dances. We have missed seeing her since she was no longer able to dance. May she rest in peace. Jim and Pat Williams
