David Lee Burnett, 82, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021.
He was born on June 18, 1939, in Bevier, Missouri to Roland and Violet (Simpson) Burnett.
David is survived by his daughter, Michele Burnett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandson, Kaleb Bryan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and former spouse, Shirley Burnett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Florence Gessner of Macon, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Burnett, Jack Burnett, Daniel Burnett, Herman Burnett; sisters, Aletta Searan, Grace Burnett.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
