So sorry for the loss of Uncle Barney. He and your parents are wonderful people. Hugs and prayers to you all during this difficult time and beyond.

I am saddened to learn of Barney’s passing. No question in my mind where he is at now. He took me under his wing at the Higley Building and together we did a lot of maintenance work. But the coffee breaks at 9:30 were the high point of the day, when Barney would start to tell his stories. Battleship stories, Higley building stories, just general jokes, man he had me laughing so hard sometimes it was hard to go back to work. And he taught me how to paint like a pro. Together we added the South addition to his house, and the garage in back. I hope I don’t miss his celebration. Swing that club easy now Barney, till we meet again.

So sorry to hear of Barney’s passing. Many memories of he and Pat playing cards with my folks and how much fun they had. The laughing! And he always called my dad “Eggy”, cracked me up. Such a great guy who will be sorely missed. Sending prayers of comfort to the family.

I hit the submit button by accident. We just had so much fun as kids and it was our parents that made it that way I just know your parents and my dad and our grandparents are up there playing cards having fun and just i so happy I know your mom and dad are so happy they're that makes me happy I always remember running into your dad at the BP on 1st Avenue he would always be getting gas there and I would always wave at him and he would not know who I was at 1st But then he would see who I was and then we get out we talk a minute hug and then he would be on his way and that was always special to me I'm gonna miss him and our little rendezvous at BP. I wish Trey would of gotten to know him better there is only ONE Barney Hanson. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys I love you guys to the moon and back And you know if there's anything you guys need you know where to call. Kristi and Trey

Ok I'm gonna miss Uncle Barney so much I can't even begin to explain. I just wish tray had more time to get to know him. When I think about Uncle Barney I think about his laugh and how it always bellowed through the house when we were kids running around plan and they were sitting there playing cards and we just tore around that house I know your mom was just sick after we left because I know we made mass

All our love and prayers to the family. Such an amazing family! Barney, you did it all! Rest In Peace with Pat, forever! You will both be so missed, but you left such a legacy. Hugs!

Barney was a "True American Hero"!! Barney served his Nation with great Honor & Distinction!! While attending St. Patrick's, I had the privilege of playing softball for Coach Hanson!! Barney was extremely kind and generous to everyone he met!! The world will miss Barney!! I often spoke with Barney as he would visit me when I was President & CEO of the Freedom Foundation, a local Veteran's Service and Support Organization. I "Salute" you Barney, as I respect and admire you immensely!! My "heartfelt" condolences to the Hanson Family, I loved Barney very much!! Respectfully, Chuck Elias U.S. Army Veteran

Sympathies to Barney's family. I had the pleasure of working with him when I was working in the Seiferts Corporate Offices in the Higley building. Wonderful man! You are in our prayers.
