It has been many years since I’ve seen or heard from the Burgin family. The day I found out of the loss of Steve Burgin, it really affected my day! My heart was heavy! A big chunk of my childhood was spent with this phenomenal, loving family! I am blessed with so many nurturing & endearing childhood memories! I’m forever grateful to Steve and the entire Burgin family for loving & accepting me as one of their own! My mother & I were a big part of his life during & after his time in the Navy. I once called him “Dad”
Grateful for the memories and for being a chapter in his book of life. I had an amazing childhood because of this great man! My heart is heavy for the entire family. My deepest condolences. With love, Tiffany Simmons

My deepest sympathy to the family of Steve. I have not seen him for many years. He used to live next door to us back in the late 70's- early 80's. He was a very likeable guy. We used to BBQ and eat together and he made the best Daquiris. Steve was a kind and helpful friend and neighbor. We shared so many laughs and good times, with tales of his Navy days. He is remembered fondly. I hope it brings comfort to his family knowing he is remembered lovingly. Though we are saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
