Steven P. Burgin, 64, of Palo, died on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from 3-8pm Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the home of Steve’s daughter, Brianna Beets, at 36 Vinton St, Palo.
Steve is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Brianna Beets of Palo, Dane Burgin of Central City, and Kayti Graham of Ireland; grandchildren, Zaidyn Beets, Adrian Beets, and Keaton Crable; mother, Donna Burgin of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Bob (Julie) Burgin of Cedar Rapids, Terry (Tom) Sanders of Palo and Jerry (Ginny) Burgin of Nevada.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Albert (Pete) Burgin, and nephew Jerry Burgin Jr.
Steven Phillip Burgin was born September 22, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Albert and Donna (Wells) Burgin. He served in the U.S. Navy and after returning home, he worked as a construction laborer and then was a truck driver for many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations towards a memorial fund would be appreciated.
