Our deepest condolences to the family. The service you had for Uncle Bill was beautiful. May you find comfort in knowing he is in Our Heavenly home and reunited with Aunt Lillie. God Bless, Dave and Mary Genoa Il

Bill, Lillie and I were high school friends. I considered Lillie one of my best friends. We raised our children togethe. In 2015 I had knee surgery. While I rehabbed at Hiawatha care Center, Bill began coming to visit me. Bill and Lillie had taken care of their parent and he also was very attentive and careing with Lillie. It was only natural for Bill to look after me. We had many good lunches with our classmates, lots of laughs and good times together. Bill was a careing individual. I have missed him very much since Covid-19 began. My condolences to Bill's family.

you have our deepest sympthy Bill was a wonderful man and was loved by all. always had a lot of fun with him at family functions at Jaysons. He will be missed. love Alan And Susan Andrews,

I was so saddened to read in the paper the passing of Bill. My father in law, David Burke had become a good friend to him since his first day at Hallmar . Making a new place a home away from home was slightly difficult for David, so he wanted to make sure Bill was feeling welcomed. They shared meals at the same dinner table. They hit it off right away. Loved sharing stories, and David was even invited to Bill's room to celebrate his birthday! When we were up visiting David we tried to stop in and see Bill as well since his room was right outside the elevator. It was hard on Bill when David suddenly passed away, he came to see him in his room and said a prayer. This is a difficult time for your family and we send you hugs and will say a prayer for you as well. No more suffering anymore and he seemed to have a great life too. BUT we know now they are sitting at that big table in the sky and sharing those good old stories again:) Rest In Peace "Wild Bill" and may God welcome you into His arms Chris & Michele Burke

I am saddened to hear of the death of my first cousin Bill. Peace be with your family.

Craig, Brenda, Rick and Nancy and families: Our prayers of peace and comfort surround you all. Your Dad and Mom were special to us. We are sorry they are gone, but so glad they were here. We smile when we recall all the fun times we enjoyed with them. May you also enjoy the good memories your family holds dear. God bless you all.

May your hearts feel the tender nearness of God, the caring love of friends, and the cherished comfort of memories. My husband and I have many fond memories of Bill. Prayers for the families.

Dear Brenda, Nancy, Craig & Rick- I was just thinking about your dad a couple weeks ago & wondering how he was.....I am sorry for the passing of your dad. Your mother Lillie was my cousin and I would see them occasionally at your Grandma Junes & of course, always the Covington reunions. Your parents were great people. Hold your memories close. Cousin Kristine Covington Wheeler & Kent

Bill and Lillie were some of the first people that we met when we moved to Center Point. They helped us get acquainted in the community. We had lost touch eventually, but earlier had watched the children and some of the grandchildren grow up. Our sympathy to all of you.
